Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has called on his side to beat Chelsea to keep their slim chances of winning the Premier League title alive.

With leaders Leicester City dropping points after drawing 1-1 with Manchester United yesterday, Spurs still have a narrow chance of pipping the Foxes to the league title.

Tottenham, who drew 1-1 with West Bromwich Albion last week, are currently eight points behind Leicester with three league games remaining in the season.

Any result other than a win at Stamford Bridge will end Tottenham’s title hopes, and hence Kane wants his side to fully focus on beating their London rivals Chelsea tonight.

The England international, who admitted that Tottenham were disappointed after failing to win against West Brom, urged the White Hart Lane outfit to solely concentrate on themselves and win their remaining three fixtures this season.

“It was obviously a disappointing game last week, it was one we wanted to win but again there are still three games left”, Kane told his club’s official site.

“We’ve just got to do our job, that’s all we can do – focus on tonight, try to beat Chelsea and see what happens.”

Tottenham played out a goalless draw with Chelsea in the corresponding fixture at White Hart Lane in November.
