Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy thinks Leicester City are going to have a fight on their hands keeping their top players this summer.

Cundy watched on at Stamford Bridge last night as Chelsea came from 2-0 down against Tottenham Hotspur to draw 2-2, in the process handing Leicester the Premier League title.

The Foxes were 5,000/1 outsiders at the start of the season after only narrowly avoiding the drop last term. But Claudio Ranieri's men pushed past the traditional contenders this season and now have Champions League football to look forward to, along with the small matter of picking up the Premier League trophy at the weekend.

A number of Leicester players have been lauded for their performances and Cundy believes the Foxes will find it tough to keep suitors at bay, not least for midfielder N'Golo Kante.

Cundy said on Chelsea TV after the Spurs game: "Leicester's problem is going to be holding on to their players.

"Kante, rumoured to have a £20m buy-out clause – if there isn't one club in the top division of every country looking at that boy. At £20m everyone can afford him.

"That's going to be their problem."

Leicester will be keen to hold on to their star players over the summer, especially with a Champions League campaign to plan for.

However, it remains to be seen whether the Foxes will be able to stay strong if big money is put on their table.
