Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino feels there is no reason to be concerned about Toby Alderweireld’s knee injury.

The Belgium international picked up the injury and had to be substituted in injury time of Spurs’ 2-2 draw at Chelsea last night which ended the White Hart Lane outfit’s title charge.

And Pochettino explained that although the medical staff at Tottenham will examine Alderweireld’s injury, he feels it is nothing serious.

"It's his knee. We'll have to have a look, but it should be ok”, the manager was quoted as saying by Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws.

Alderweireld has been a key member of Tottenham’s team since joining the club from Atletico Madrid on a five-year deal last summer.
