Paris Saint-Germain are planning a major overhaul of their squad after the end of the season and are prepared to spend €250-300m in the summer, according to French magazine France Football.

Although PSG have attained success domestically in the present campaign, the French champions have not been up to the mark on the European front.

Laurent Blanc’s team strolled to the Ligue 1 title and won the French League Cup, in addition to reaching the final of the French Cup where they will face Marseille at the Stade de France on 21st May.

However, PSG were knocked out of the quarter-finals of the Champions League by Manchester City last month.

And with several stars such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Maxwell and Gregory van der Wiel out of contract with the club at the end of the season, PSG are willing to splash the cash in the summer.
