Rangers boss Mark Warburton has revealed that the trio of Michael O’Halloran, Billy King and Dominic Ball will be involved in training in spite of their unavailability for the Scottish Cup final.

Striker O'Halloran, who joined the Gers from St Johnstone during the January transfer window, will be cup-tied for the match against Hibernian on 21st May.

Winger King, on loan after arriving from Premiership side Hearts, will also be unavailable for the all-important match due to the same reason.

Ball, a loanee from Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur, will also miss the match through suspension.

But Warburton intends to keep the trio involved in training throughout the build-up to the final.

The manager also took time to admit that their quality and tempo will be very important for the entire team going into the all-important cup final.

"They are involved and they are part of our training group and have a role to play. They will be part of our squad who are training and they have a big part to play", the manager told his club's official website.

The trio will also feature in a behind closed doors friendly against Tottenham Hotspur.

“Their quality and their tempo is very important for us and they will play in the friendly game as well.

"They have a big role to play between now and the 21st of May.”

The match against Hibernian will present Rangers with the opportunity to make an already successful season an even more glorious one.
