Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Graham Roberts feels Cesc Fabregas may be the first player to be booed by Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs fans in a single season.

Fabregas faced the wrath of the Arsenal fans when Chelsea visited the Emirates Stadium in January, with the Spain international being a former Gunner.

The midfielder was booed by his own set of fans earlier in the season following the Blues’ insipid displays which led to Jose Mourinho’s sacking in December.

Fabregas was then targeted by the Tottenham fans during the 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge last night which ended Mauricio Pochettino’s side's chances of winning the Premier League.

Although booing is common in football, Roberts cannot remember if a player has been jeered by the fans of the three London clubs in a season.
