Veteran Dutch scout Piet de Visser is disappointed with the way Vitesse Arnhem are using Chelsea's youngsters on loan at the club and feels the Blues should think about sending their young players somewhere else if the present scenario doesn’t change.

Chelsea have an agreement with the Dutch outfit, and the club regularly send their young players to Vitesse on loan deals to provide them with more first team experience in a competitive European league.

However, there have been rumblings that Chelsea are not happy with the way Vitesse have been treating their players in recent months, and Dutch scout De Visser understands the frustration of the English giants.

The veteran Dutchman is surprised that many of the Chelsea loanees are not regulars in the Vitesse starting eleven and feels the Dutch outfit are not using some of the players in their best positions.

De Visser told Voetbal International: “The Chelsea boys have a high basic level, therefore in England they don’t understand why they are not playing regularly.

“A guy like Nathan is a real number ten, but it is incomprehensible that he never gets a chance in that position.”

He admits that Chelsea have legitimate cause for concern about the lack of progress their players are showing at Vitesse and he could well advise the English club to move their talents somewhere else.

“Of course Chelsea are not satisfied with the lack of progress made by their players.

“If Vitesse want to keep these talents but not play them regularly, I would advise Chelsea to send them somewhere else.”

De Visser has played a key role behind the scenes in remodeling the Chelsea recruitment network under Roman Abramovich and is a trusted advisor to the Blues owner.
