Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admits tomorrow's Europa League meeting with Villarreal could be a game for striker Daniel Sturridge, however he has made no decision yet on his team.

The Reds lost the first leg of their Europa League semi-final tie 1-0 in Spain and must now turn the encounter around when the Yellow Submarine line up at Anfield on Thursday night.

All eyes are on whether Klopp chooses to start with Sturridge, especially as he has often preferred to go without a recognised striker, playing Roberto Firmino as his most advanced player.

The Reds boss was asked at a press conference today whether the game against Villarreal could be one for Sturridge.

And he replied: "Yes, it could be, 100 per cent.

"But I have made no decision about the line-up", Klopp explained.

"We have to think about the game, how we can react in different situations.

"And absolutely in these thoughts Daniel Sturridge is involved."

Klopp also reported that Emre Can, who has been out injured, is back in the squad for the game.

Liverpool are desperate to reach the Europa League final this season as winning the competition would present the Reds with a ticket into next season's Champions League.

The Reds cannot finish in the top four in the Premier League and Klopp has made the Europa League a priority, resting players in league games to keep them fresh for Europe.
