Arsenal and Manchester City are weighing up a possible swoop for Monaco full-back Fabinho, according to French sports daily L'Equipe.

The Brazil international, who joined Monaco on loan from Real Madrid in 2013 before making his move permanent the following season, has been in fine form in the present campaign.




Besides providing stability to Monaco’s defence, Fabinho has scored seven goals and provided five assists in 46 appearances in all competitions this season.

The 22-year-old’s impressive performance have aroused the interest of Arsenal and Manchester City, with Barcelona also keeping tabs on the defender.
 


Fabinho, whose present contract with Monaco runs until the summer of 2019, is rated at around the €25m mark.
