Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink insists that his side will go into every match against relegation threatened teams with the same approach.

The Pensioners are set to visit the Stadium of Light tomorrow in order to play their penultimate game of the season against Sam Allardyce's relegation threatened Sunderland.

The Londoners played their last match against second placed Tottenham Hotspur, a match they drew 2-2 and in spite of the apparent difference in standards between the high flying Lilywhites and relegation battling Sunderland, Hiddink insists that the approach to the games will be no different.

The Dutch manager took time to insist that he is not in favour of changing too much in his team and in spite of the recent experiments with young players, the squad for the match against Sunderland will be dominated by experienced players.

With European qualification now looking a distant dream, the outgoing manager believes that the match will be one for their pride and enjoyment.

"It’s important for ourselves, for our pride and for our enjoyment of football", Hiddink said at the press conference.

"Second, we want to have the same approach for all the teams who are still fighting to avoid relegation. They deserve the same approach in our seriousness, with no guarantee that we can win, but we will go for the win of course.

"Given the situation it wouldn’t be fair of us to have a serious approach for the Spurs game and not have a serious approach for the other games.

"I am not going to change a lot in the team

"Before, I made some changes with academy players, but it would not be fair to do it again to the other teams we are approaching in the last games.

"You have the obligation as a player to act well. They did that in the previous games against Bournemouth and Tottenham and we are going in to the last three games with the same attitude."
