Nottingham Forest supremo Fawaz Al-Hasawi has reported good news for the Championship club.

The Forest supremo has revealed that the Football League have been in touch with the club to confirm that their transfer embargo will be lifted.

For Forest the timing is perfect as they head into the summer and look to rebuild their squad for a tilt at promotion from the Championship next season.

Al-Hasawi took to Twitter to write: "Good news – the Football League has confirmed the transfer embargo will be lifted."

The lifting of the transfer embargo should help Forest in their mission to appoint a new manager, making the club a more attractive proposition.
