Inter are working hard to keep Arsenal's hands off exciting young talent Eloge Yao, a player the Gunners have taken a firm interest in.

Centre-back Yao has spent the current campaign on loan at Crotone, shining and helping the minnows to win promotion from Serie B to Serie A.

The 20-year-old is firmly on Arsenal's radar, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, but Inter are minded to keep Yao at the San Siro.

The Nerazzurri are now working quickly to renew Yao's contract, while they already have an agreement in principle to extend his loan spell with Crotone for a further season.

Yao spent time in the youth ranks at Parma before being tempted to Inter in 2012, where he has made steady progress.
