Marseille coach Franck Passi feels that everyone at the club is aware that Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham target Michy Batshuayi will be leaving the Stade Velodrome this summer.

The Belgian hitman signed a new contract with the club a few months ago, but speculation around his future has been swirling for some time now, with suggestions that Marseille would sell the player for a fee of around €40m.

The talented forward has attracted the attention of some top clubs with his performances in France over the last couple of seasons, with English clubs are on his trail.

Tottenham and West Ham have been keeping close tabs on the Belgian over the past few months and the Marseille coach has all but confirmed that Batshuayi is on his way out of the club.

Passi was quoted as saying by French outlet Foot Mercato: “I think everyone knows that he will leave.

“For now our finances are not flourishing and we must accept it.

“There are clubs in Europe who are affluent enough to keep their best players, but for us, that is not the case.”

Batshuayi joined Marseille from Standard Liege in 2014 and has notched up 32 goals in 77 appearances for the club thus far.

He could further increase his reputation if he shines at Euro 2016 with Belgium.
