Juventus have made Palmeiras forward Gabriel Jesus, who is also on the radar of Inter and Manchester United, a priority target this summer, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 19-year-old forward has been attracting attention from Europe with his performances in Brazilian and South American football and recently scored four goals in five appearances in the Copa Libertadores.

Italian champions Juventus are keen to bring him to Turin in the summer and it has been suggested that coach Massimiliano Allegri has marked the young forward as one of their top targets.

However, the Bianconeri are not only going to face a stiff challenge for his signature from Serie A rivals Inter Milan, but also Manchester United, who have been keeping a close watch on Jesus’ performances over the last few months.

Jesus recently signed a new contract until 2019 with Palmeiras but it has been speculated that a fee of around €15m to €20m should be enough to convince the Brazilian outfit to sell the young forward this summer, though the price could rise if more clubs enter the fray.

The youngster has made only 25 senior appearances for Palmeiras thus far, but it has been enough to attract the attention of some of the big names of European football.

The 19-year-old is also expected to be in the Brazil squad that will take part in this summer’s Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
