With Zlatan Ibrahimovic leaving the club, Paris Saint-German are hoping to convince Chelsea and Manchester United linked Edinson Cavani to continue at the Parc des Princes.

Cavani has been linked with a move away from PSG since last summer, but despite interest from all over Europe, the player has so far stayed put in the French capital.

Manchester United and Atletico Madrid are said to be keen to snare him away from the Parisians this summer and even Juventus are plotting to take the former Napoli man back to Italy.

However, PSG are keen to keep the player and according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the club hierarchy have called a meeting with the player’s representatives in the coming days.

With Ibrahimovic leaving, Cavani could be installed as the club’s central striker next season and PSG are hoping to convince the player to ignore his suitors again in the next transfer window.
