AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani feels there will be many opportunities to speak to Liverpool about Mario Balotelli this coming summer.

Balotelli is just about to complete a season-long loan at AC Milan from Liverpool, where he fell out of favour under previous manager Brendan Rodgers.

The striker's loan spell at the San Siro has been underwhelming and the Rossoneri have been tipped not to want to keep Balotelli into next season.

But Galliani has given no hint that is the case, simply confirming the loan does not contain a purchase option and explaining there is ample time to talk to Liverpool.

"At the moment it is a pure loan", he told Sport Mediaset, when asked about Balotelli.

"We shall have chance to speak, during the summer there will be many opportunities to discuss with Liverpool", Galliani added.

Liverpool are under new management in the shape of Jurgen Klopp and it remains to be seen whether the German is thinking of Balotelli in his plans for next season.

AC Milan played their final game of the season on Saturday night against Roma at the San Siro, losing 3-1.
