Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy is on Lyon's radar, according to French magazine France Football.

The right-back spent the second half of the 2015/16 campaign on loan at Bordeaux after a lack of first team opportunities at Arsenal.

Debuchy, who joined Arsenal from Newcastle United in 2014, managed to clock up just 512 minutes over seven appearances in all competitions this season before being sent out on loan to Bordeaux in January.

The Frenchman is not in the plans of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger for next season, despite being under contract with the club until 2019.

Lyon are ready to take advantage of the situation and sign Debuchy as a possible replacement for Rafael, who has been linked with a move away from the club in the summer, with West Ham United and Everton interested.
