Chelsea are set to contact Roma defender Kostas Manolas’ representatives over a potential summer move, according to Sky Italia.

The Greece international, who joined Roma from Olympiacos in 2014, featured heavily for the Serie A outfit in the current campaign.

Besides providing stability to Roma’s defence, the 24-year-old also managed to score twice and provide three assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.

Incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is a big admirer of Manolas, who has 23 caps for Greece to his name.

The Giallorossi are however not interested in parting ways with the centre-back, whose present contract with the club runs until 2019.

Chelsea have also been linked with making moves for Manolas’ Roma team-mates Radja Nainggolan and Antonio Rudiger as the Blues prepare a major overhaul of their squad under Conte in the summer.
