Yaya Toure’s agent has claimed that the Ivorian midfielder is in talks with Serie A giants Inter Milan over a possible summer switch.

The Ivory Coast International has made 28 starts and four substitute appearances for the men in blue this season, finding the back of the net six times and racking up five assists on the way.

Toure joined Manchester City in 2010 from Catalan giants Barcelona for a fee in the region of £24m after being deemed surplus to requirements by Pep Guardiola.

Speculation regarding the fact that the 33-year-old is likely to leave Manchester City this summer is rife and it seems as that he could reunite with Roberto Mancini, who was at the Etihad until 2013, at the San Siro.

Toure’s agent Dimitri Seluk has claimed that the club are intent on offloading the midfielder and talks with Inter are ongoing.

He was quoted as saying by CalcioMercato.it: "It's true, we're talking with Mancini.

"We're looking for a solution with Manchester City, who want to sell Yaya Toure only up front, not on loan.

"I can't say if there are other teams interested. He has a contract, but nothing special.

“Inter? It's a good club."
