Tottenham Hotspur linked Pescara striker Gianluca Lapadula has expressed his eagerness to play alongside Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy next season.

The Serie B striker has been in red hot form this season, having scored a total of 26 goals in 41 matches so far. Along with that the 26-year-old has also provided his team-mates with eleven assists.




His performances have drawn the attention of a number of clubs, with the likes of Tottenham and Napoli showing keen interest.

The player from Turin has been tipped to potentially move on in the summer in search of a spot at a bigger club.
 


Leicester from that angle present a good opportunity, with the newly crowned Premier League champions looking to add depth to their squad for next season.

Speaking to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the striker said that playing alongside Vardy would be good for him as both of play similar kind of football.

"Vardy and I can both blast the ball", Lapadula said.

"We're very similar and are both determined, even if he is right-footed."
