Chelsea starlet Charly Musonda is wanted by Italian Serie A giants Roma, but could end up remaining with La Liga side Real Betis, it has been claimed.

The Blues sent Musonda out on loan to Betis in the winter transfer window this year to allow him to cut his teeth in the competitive environment of the Spanish top flight.

And Musonda has been a success at Betis, in the process arousing the interest of a number of clubs who feel he might once again struggle to break through to the first team at Chelsea.

Roma are keen, but according to Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws, there is a big chance Musonda could stay put at Betis.

Musonda managed 16 appearances in La Liga for Betis this season, scoring one goal and providing his team-mates with a single assist.
