Leeds United's contract offer to young goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell remains on the table despite a supposed deadline for him to sign it having passed.

The highly rated goalkeeper is out of contract this summer and Leeds have offered him a two-year deal. However, the Whites gave Peacock-Farrell until Sunday 15th May to sign up.

But the custodian's representatives asked for clarity over who Leeds' head coach and goalkeeping coach will be next season, with the situation unclear.

As such, Peacock-Farrell did not sign the new deal and remains a possible departure from Elland Road this summer.

However, despite the goalkeeper not having signed, Leeds have kept the contract offer on the table, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The goalkeeper though is still looking for assurances before putting pen to paper.

Peacock-Farrell was handed his senior debut in the recently concluded season by Whites head coach Steve Evans.

Evans' future at Leeds is unclear and Peacock-Farrell does not know under whom he will be playing if he signs the deal.
