Alexis Sanchez is delighted to have taken up the number 7 shirt at Arsenal.
The shirt number had been worn by Tomas Rosicky, but following his departure from the Emirates Stadium outfit, Sanchez has been quick to take up the iconic number.
He will turn out in the number 7 for the Gunners next season and has wasted no time in showing off the fact.
Sanchez took to Instagram to post a photograph of himself in the number 7 shirt as he looks forward to the 2016/17 campaign.
The Chile international ended the recently concluded season empty handed as Arsenal could only finish second in the Premier League, while they also slipped out of the League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League well before the final.

Sanchez has been linked with moving away from Arsenal this summer, however his delight at taking the number 7 shirt has hinted at a longer stay.
