West Ham co-chairman David Gold has indicated that winger Michail Antonio is not going anywhere despite his recent links with Middlesbrough.

The 26-year-old winger joined the Hammers last season from Nottingham Forest and despite initially struggling to get into the team, Antonio eventually became a key part of Slaven Bilic’s squad over the course of the season.

His versatility and flexibility as a player also came into the fore as Bilic often used the winger as an attacking full-back and he played a major role in a successful season for the Hammers.

In recent days it has emerged that the winger is attracting interest from other clubs and there are suggestions that newly promoted Middlesbrough are considering making an offer for Antonio.

However, club co-chairman Gold has nipped the rumours in the bud and indicated that the club are not in any mood to sell Antonio during the summer transfer window.
