Manchester United linked winger Joao Mario is unwilling to speculate about his future just ahead of the European Championship this summer.

The 23-year-old winger played a key role for Sporting Lisbon in the 2015/16 campaign, and was an integral part of their forward line; his performances have attracted the attention of a few top clubs across Europe.

Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are said to be keeping tabs on his situation, but it has been claimed in recent days that Mario is on the transfer shortlist that Jose Mourinho has submitted to Manchester United ahead of his impending move to Old Trafford.

Mario has been included in the preliminary Portugal squad for this summer’s European Championship, and the winger is not keen to delve into the rumours surrounding his future at Sporting Lisbon.

The 23-year-old was quoted as saying by Portuguese sports daily Record: “I am very focused [at this point].
