Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta has insisted that the club will soon meet with Real Madrid to sort out Alvaro Morata’s situation.

The striker, who joined Juventus from Real Madrid in 2014, has been heavily linked with a move away from the Italian champions in the summer.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly all interested in snapping up Morata.

Real Madrid, who have a buy-back clause inserted in Morata’s deal, want the forward to return to the Santiago Bernabeu so that they can sell him for a higher price.

Arsenal and PSG are willing to spend up to €60m for Morata, and Los Blancos want to cash in on the opportunity of a quick profit.

And with Morata’s future at the Juventus Stadium being in doubt, Marotta explained that they will meet Real Madrid’s hierarchy soon to clear the air about the 23-year-old.

“Soon we will meet Real and sort out the situation”, he was quoted as saying by Italian daily Tuttosport.

Morata, whose present contract with Juventus runs until 2020, scored 12 goals and provided as many assists in 47 appearances in all competitions in the recently concluded season.

He also has eight caps and a goal for Spain to his name as he prepares to represent his nation in the upcoming European Championship.
