Liverpool are eyeing a summer move for Valenciennes full-back Angelo Fulgini during the transfer window to bolster their options in defence.

The defender is currently engaged with the France Under-20 team in the Toulon Tournament, but there is speculation surrounding his future at Valenciennes.

While the French outfit finished in the bottom half of Ligue 2, the young full-back caught the eye of one and all with his performances on the right flank, and Liverpool appear keen to take him to Anfield this summer.

The Reds were also on his trail last year after he impressed in the Under-19 World Cup and according to French magazine France Football, the English giants are keen to finally get the deal done this time around.

A product of Valenciennes academy, Fulgini has made rapid progress through the ranks at the Stade du Hainaut and made 29 appearances for the club during the 2015/16 campaign.
