Leeds United winger Jordan Botaka has revealed his delight after meeting meeting Ronaldo, his all-time favourite player.

The 22-year-old, who was snapped up by then Leeds boss Uwe Rosler from Dutch side SBV Excelsior last summer, fell down the pecking order at Elland Road after Steve Evans took charge of the club in October.

Botaka managed 14 appearances in all competitions for the Whites in the 2015/16 campaign, with four of those coming after the turn of the year.

However, the Congo international was elated after meeting Brazil legend Ronaldo in person.

“My #1 best player of all time Ronaldo! Feel blessed to have met him such a great person!” he tweeted along with a picture of himself with the former striker.

Botaka, who even featured for the Under-21s last season after falling out of the first team picture, is contracted with Leeds until 2017.

It remains to be seen if he remains at the club next season as Leeds are almost certain to replace Evans with someone else.

Botaka represented the Netherlands up to Under-19 level before deciding to switch his allegiance to Congo, for whom he has thus far managed five caps and two goal.
