Manchester United are still in talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic over a possible summer move, although no deal has been agreed yet, according to Sky Italia.

The Sweden international has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, who appointed Jose Mourinho as their manager this morning, after the expiration of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.

Speculation is on the rise that Mourinho wants to reunite with Ibrahimovic at Old Trafford, having previously worked with the Swede at Inter Milan.

The 34-year-old, who yesterday admitted that he has concrete offers from the Premier League, enjoyed a spectacular 2015/16 campaign.

Ibrahimovic’s 50 goals and 19 assists in 51 appearances in all competitions last season helped PSG to win the domestic treble of Ligue 1, the French Cup and the French League Cup.

He has no agreement on personal terms yet with Manchester United though.

It has been also claimed that the forward, who will represent Sweden in the European Championship next month, may opt for a player-cum-coaching role under Mourinho at Manchester United.
