The agent of Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva has waved away talk his client might be a target for new Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

The Brazilian is considered to be one of the finest centre-backs in world football and Mourinho is expected to spend big over the summer as he looks to rebuild Manchester United.

Silva's agent, Paulo Tonietto, insists that his client is happy at PSG and still has another two years remaining on his contract at the Parc des Princes.

Asked about Silva's future, the agent told Italian outlet Tutto Mercato: "He has a contract with PSG for another two years."

Then asked about Manchester United and Mourinho, Silva's representative said: "At the moment, I know nothing."

PSG snapped Silva up from Italian giants AC Milan in the summer of 2012 and he quickly established himself as a key man in the French capital.

During his time in Paris, the Brazilian has scooped four Ligue 1 titles, one Coupe de France and two Coupe de la Ligues.

He has yet however to help PSG win the Champions League, something which remains a burning ambition at the club.
