Fiorentina and Valencia have joined Arsenal in the racr for Celtic attacking midfielder Tom Rogic, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

The Australia international, who struggled with injuries after joining Celtic from Central Coast Mariners in January 2013, enjoyed a great 2015/16 campaign.




Rogic managed to score 10 goals and provide seven assists in 39 appearances for Celtic and helped the club to their fifth consecutive Scottish Premiership title.

The 23-year-old’s impressive performances have attracted the interest of up to a dozen clubs.
 


Agents, scouts and officials from the interested parties were present to watch Rogic in action during Australia’s 2-1 loss to England in a friendly at the Stadium of Light on Friday night.

However, it has been claimed that new Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to keep the Australian at Paradise for the long haul.

Rogic, whose present contract with Celtic runs until 2017, has thus far amassed 54 appearances for the Scottish champions, netting 10 times and setting up eight goals.

He also has 16 caps and four goals for Australia to his name.
