Super agent Mino Raiola is working on a plan to move Mario Balotelli to Lazio by putting together a deal which the Rome club could afford.

Balotelli has just spent the season on loan at AC Milan from Liverpool, after he flopped at Anfield in the 2014/15 campaign, but the Italian giants are not expected to try to keep him at the San Siro.

The hunt is on for a new home for Balotelli and according to Italian daily Il Messaggero, Raiola is working on a plan to take his client to Lazio.

Raiola is convinced that despite Lazio's financial concerns he can put together a package which would see the capital club able to afford to sign Balotelli.

Liverpool paid AC Milan £16m to sign Balotelli in the summer of 2014, as then boss Brendan Rodgers looked to replace the goals lost by selling Luis Suarez to Barcelona.

However, the Italian disappointed on the pitch, while also generating controversy, and soon found himself on the fringes at Anfield.

Raiola hoped his client could put his career back on track at former club AC Milan, but Balotelli struggled to make an impact this season.

His future though could still lie in Italy.
