Piotr Zielinski's agent has confirmed that Napoli are chasing his client, who is at present focused on preparing for Euro 2016.

The 22-year-old midfielder has attracted serious interest from Premier League side Liverpool, while Roma have also been credited with being keen.

It did seem Zielinski was poised to head to Anfield to link up with Jurgen Klopp, but the transfer has developed into an on-off saga, leaving the Poland international's future very much up in the air.

And Napoli too must now be factored into the mix when it comes to the race for Zielinski's signature.

The midfielder's agent Bartlomiej Bolek told Italian outlet Calcio Mercato: "Napoli are following Piotr, just like other European teams.

"But he still has two years on his contract with Udinese and is now concentrating exclusively on the European Championship", the agent explained.

Zielinski spent the recently concluded season on loan at Serie A side Empoli and a series of good performances enhanced his reputation over the course of the campaign.

The Poland star helped Empoli to a finish of tenth in Serie A in the 2015/16 campaign.
