Tottenham Hotspur have joined West Ham in the chase for Juventus attacking midfielder Roberto Pereyra, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.

The Italian champions are open to selling the Argentina international in the summer to raise cash for their own transfers.

Pereyra joined Juventus from Udinese on a season-long loan deal in 2014 before the Bianconeri made the move permanent last summer.

However, the 25-year-old managed top clock up just 855 minutes over 16 appearances in all competitions in the 2015/16 campaign, providing just one assist, while in total he has turned out 68 times for Juventus netting six times and setting up five goals.

West Ham were the first club credited with holding an interest in Pereyra this summer, but fellow Premier League outfit Spurs have now also entered the fray.

At the moment Tottenham would appear to be Pereyra’s likeliest destination as the north London outfit will be playing in the Champions League next season.

However, West Ham have a good relationship with Juventus, as evidenced by their signing of Angelo Ogbonna last summer.

Pereyra has 10 caps for Argentina to his name.
