Boxer and Leeds United fan Josh Warrington feels that fans should not be put off buying season tickets by Massimo Cellino's running of the club.

With June just around the corner, Leeds do not have a head coach confirmed for next season, have not a single pre-season friendly arranged and have made no signings to strengthen their squad.

The Whites have also had to deal with the embarrassment of seeing MK Dons manager Karl Robinson and Bristol Rovers boss Darrell Clarke rebuff their approaches. Meanwhile, another contender in John Sheridan has taken over at Notts County.

Some fans believe not buying season tickets is a form of protest against Cellino's regime, but Warrington intends to secure his seat and feels the Italian's running of the club should not stop the faithful supporting the team.

On Twitter, Warrington said he is "sorting it today" on the season ticket front.

A fan put it to Warrington that he was not going to be stopped by "clown Cellino" from going to support the side, to which Warrington replied: "Well said pal, we can't do anything but back the team."

So far Leeds have managed to sell 12,000 season tickets.
