Manchester United starlet Timothy Fosu-Mensah is keen to further develop under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho and believes the new Red Devils boss will turn him into a top player.
The English giants picked up the young Dutchman from the Ajax academy in 2014, and after starring for the club’s Under-18 and Under-21 sides, Fosu-Mensah broke into the first team last season.
Former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal gave him his debut in the 2015/16 campaign, and the youngster even started the FA Cup semi-final against Everton, which was a big vote of confidence for his talent.
A defensive midfielder by trade, the Dutchman played across the back four for the Red Devils last season and he is keen to continue developing next season – but this time under Mourinho.
Despite the current Manchester United boss’ reputation of not providing youth a chance, Fosu-Mensah is confident the Portuguese will turn him into a top player at Old Trafford.
