Leeds United have announced they have beaten last year's season ticket sales figure by selling just over 13,000.

The club are offering cashback, 25 per cent of the net season ticket price, to those who bought their tickets before the deadline of the end of today if the Whites do not at least finish in a playoff spot in the Championship.

And Leeds have beaten last year's total as fans flock to buy season tickets despite the club having not confirmed who will be head coach next season, no signings having been made and not one pre-season friendly having been arranged.

The club insist they are now pushing to complete 15,000 season ticket sales before 31st July, which would take the cashback figure on offer up from 25 per cent to 50 per cent.

Leeds could only finish in 13th spot in the Championship in the recent concluded season, but owner Massimo Cellino is eyeing the Whites making a push for promotion next term.
