Carlos Bacca’s agent has remained non-committal on the prospect of the AC Milan forward joining West Ham this summer.

It emerged last night that West Ham have made a move to sign the Colombian striker from the Rossoneri and have slapped a in a bid of around €20m for his signature.

While AC Milan are ready to consider bids from other clubs for Bacca, it has been suggested that the Italian giants are keen to receive an offer closer to the €25m mark this summer in order to allow the striker to leave.

Sergio Barila, the player’s agent, revealed that nothing concrete is yet to emerge from the negotiations and refused to divulge any new information on the deal that could see Bacca playing for West Ham next season.

He told Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, when asked about West Ham's interest: “Now we have to remain quiet and wait.

“There is nothing concrete and I cannot say anything more definite on this issue.”

Bacca is reportedly ready to move to West Ham, but only if the east Londoners agree to match his current salary at the San Siro, which is around €4m per season.

But the striker's agent says his client wants to assess AC Milan's plans.

"Now is the time to wait and see what the future situation of the club will be. You have to really know Milan's project.

"After taking note of their project, I have to assess it and see what is best for Carlos and, above all, confirm the options that have been presented.

"Carlos is a player with great value on the market. It's normal to have clubs interested in knowing his situation."

The Hammers are expected to further push to get the deal done soon and are serious about signing the Colombian from the Rossoneri this summer.

He joined AC Milan from Sevilla last summer for a fee of €30m and scored 20 goals in 43 appearances in the just concluded season.
