Liverpool new boy Loris Karius wants to cause a ‘stir’ at Anfield in order to break into the Germany national squad soon.

Germany are well stocked in terms of goalkeepers, with a number of options to choose from; Manuel Neuer, Bernd Leno and Marc-Andre ter Stegen have been selected in the 23-man squad that will travel to France for the European Championship this summer.

Other than the trio, there are other options such as Ron-Robert Zieler, who is set to join Premier League champions Leicester City, and Liverpool new boy Karius is also keen to get into the mix soon.

Liverpool snapped up the goalkeeper from Mainz this summer, after a stellar 2015/16 season and he is considered one of the top young goalkeepers in Germany.

Despite his performances last season, Karius didn’t even make the provisional Germany squad, but he is keen to use the spotlight that comes with Liverpool to break into the national team.
