Roma have identified Genoa midfielder Tomas Rincon as Radja Nainggolan’s replacement, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato.

Nainggolan, who scored six goals and provided two assists in 42 appearances in the 2015/16 campaign, has been heavily linked with a move away from Roma in the summer, with Chelsea and Manchester United interested.

Although Nainggolan himself said that he wants to stay at Roma, the Italian giants are still bracing for his departure in the event the Belgium international changes his mind.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United, who appointed Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho as their new managers respectively, have strong financial resources and are ready to reshuffle their squads over the summer.

And with Nainggolan’s future being the source of much speculation, Roma are zeroing in on Rincon as the Belgian’s replacement.
