Roma are keen on Cesena midfielder Franck Kessie, who has been linked with English pair Southampton and QPR.

Kessie has been one of the sensations of the current Serie B season and is now expected to return to parent club Atalanta following his loan stint – but he may not be at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia for too long.

The Ivorian has already been linked with being on Southampton and QPR's shopping list and now, according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, Roma are also showing keen interest.

The Giallorossi have been impressed with the defensively minded midfielder's displays in the Italian second tier and could now look to do a deal with Atalanta.

There is also interest in Kessie from Monaco, who have sent scouts to Cesena's recent games to check up on the Ivorian.
