Manchester City are demanding a fee of €2m from Lille for young winger Yaw Yeboah, according to French sports daily L’Equipe.

The Ghanaian joined the Manchester City academy in 2014 and was loaned out to the Ligue 1 outfit last summer to provide him more experience of playing first team football.

While he made only five first team appearances for Lille last season, the French side want to sign the player on a permanent contract and are hoping to negotiate a deal with Manchester City.

However, the Citizens have slapped a steep asking price of €2m on the 19-year-old winger if anyone wants to sign the player on a permanent deal during the summer transfer window.

For the moment Lille are unwilling to fork out such a fee but remain keen to keep Yeboah, who impressed in the limited game time he received at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy last season.

Yeboah himself is keen to continue at the French outfit, but is also attracting interest from other clubs, who want him on loan this summer.

The youngster has turned out for the Ghana Under-20 squad ten times and has five goals to his name.
