Sevilla have joined the long queue of clubs who are interested in signing young Bologna midfielder Amadou Diawara this summer.

Bologna snapped up the young defensive midfielder last summer from San Marino Calcio and despite his tender years, he was a regular in their first eleven during the 2015/16 season.

His assured performances in the middle of the park attracted the prying eyes of a few top European sides and even Manchester United were said to be keeping a close watch on his growth in Italy.

Roma and Napoli are keen to snap up the 18-year-old midfielder, but in recent weeks Valencia have shown an interest in taking him to Spain in the coming months.

However, they are not the only La Liga side in the chase for Diawara as according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Sevilla are mooted to be interested in the midfielder.
