Napoli are preparing to launch an assault on Lyon to snap up midfielder Corentin Tolisso, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Southampton this summer.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is not keen on seeing Tolisso leave the Stade Gerland and has already knocked back a €16m bid from Napoli for the highly rated midfielder.

However, with Piotr Zielinski preferring a move to Liverpool, Napoli are set to come back to the negotiating table with €20m, according to French magazine Le 10 Sport.

Aulas is facing the prospect of losing defender Samuel Umtiti to Barcelona, while striker Alexandre Lacazette is being chased by Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.

As a result, the president is likely to not welcome Napoli's increased bid, though it remains to be seen if it is enough to turn Les Gones' head as €20m has been the mooted asking price for Tolisso.
