West Ham have entered the chase for Barcelona striker Sandro Ramirez, who has also been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Only a bit part player at Barcelona last season, the 20-year-old striker made just two appearances in 2016 following a thigh strain and is said to be on the verge of leaving the club this summer.

His lack of football at the Camp Nou has alerted Premier League clubs such as Tottenham, Everton, Swansea and Crystal Palace, and even his hometown club Las Palmas are eyeing a move for the forward.

Ramirez is also attracting interest from Malaga, who are keeping a close watch on developments at Barcelona, but according to local daily La Opinion de Malaga, West Ham have also entered the chase for the Spaniard.

And it has been suggested that Malaga are fearful that West Ham’s financial muscle could prove too much for them in the race for Ramirez’s signature.

It has also been claimed that Turkish giants Galatasaray are also keeping a close watch on the striker, whose contract with Barcelona expires at the end of next season.

Other than three goals in the Spanish Cup, Ramirez didn’t find the back of the net in any of the other competitions last season and Barcelona technical secretary Robert Fernandez recently admitted that the striker could leave the club this summer.
