Marcus Antonsson, who is being chased by English Championship trio Aston Villa, Cardiff City and Leeds United, has been voted the Player of the Month in Sweden's top flight, the Allsvenskan.

The striker's club side Kalmar have admitted that bids have flooded in for Antonsson, with the club's sporting director saying the level of interest is something he has never before experienced.

And the interest in Antonsson may have received another shot in the arm after he was handed the Allsvenskan Player of the Month award for May.

"I've managed to have good consistency and it is great fun", Antonsson told the Allsvenskan's official site when picking up the award.

Another team have also entered the race for Antonsson as it is claimed he will visit French side Toulouse to assess a potential move to the club.
