Victor Wanyama is set to swap Southampton for Tottenham Hotspur in the coming days, but there is no clarity on the fee Spurs will pay for the former Celtic midfielder.

Mauricio Pochettino is keen to add the all-action midfielder to his ranks and appears to have all but done the deal, with Wanyama's signing expected to be announced soon.

But how much the White Hart Lane outfit are forking out for the midfielder remains unclear.

According to the Press Association, Southampton claim they will receive £11m for Wanyama, however Spurs insist the amount they are paying for the Kenyan is £9m.

Regardless of the fee, it does appear Wanyama's move to Spurs will be announced later this week in a development which will no doubt delight the north London club's fans.
