Inter Milan are expecting a response from Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure over a proposed summer move to Italy.

Former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has been chasing Toure’s signature since last summer, but he is hopeful that he can finally get his man this time around.




Inter Milan have been in contact with the player’s representatives for months to convince the midfielder to move to Italy in the coming months, and have continued to maintain the pressure.

It has been claimed that Toure has received the offer from the Nerazzurri in recent weeks and is current deliberating over his future at Manchester City and the chance to reunite with Mancini at the San Siro.
 


According to Sky Italia, Inter have maintained talks with the player’s entourage over recent weeks and are waiting for a positive response from the veteran midfielder soon.

Mancini is a big fan of the midfielder from his days as Manchester City manager, and is keen to add Toure’s powerful presence to his Inter midfield ahead of the new season.

The 33-year-old’s current contract expires at the end of next season and Manchester City are not expected to stand in his way if the midfielder decides to end his six-year stay at the Etihad this summer.
