The agent of Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel expects to know more about his client's future in the next few days, while he also confirmed that Italian giants Inter are a possibility for the Slovakian.

Skrtel has fallen out of favour under Reds boss Jurgen Klopp and is expected to leave Anfield in search of regular first team football this summer.

He has been linked with a number of clubs, including Turkish trio Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, along with Italian side Roma.

And Inter are now also in the mix, with Skrtel's future expected to become clearer in the coming days, his agent feels.

"Soon we will know something more, I think in a few days", agent Karol Csonto told Italian outlet FCInterNews.

"There are several teams interested in the player, including Inter, who are a distinct possibility.

"Martin is a great player", the agent added.

Skrtel is currently in action at Euro 2016 with Slovakia, who recorded a 0-0 draw with England last night and are waiting to discover if their third place finish will be enough to earn them a spot in the last 16.

Last term the 31-year-old managed a total of 27 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool, scoring once, in the Premier League.
