Manchester United target Zlatan Ibrahimovic is ready to say yes to AC Milan’s bumper contract offer, according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

The veteran forward’s future is set to be decided soon, after Sweden exited the European Championship in the group stage yesterday, and Manchester United are expected to be his likely destination.

He has been incessantly linked with a move to Manchester United over the last few months, and many believe that a deal has already been agreed between the player and the club.

However, there could be sudden twist to the anticipated tale as AC Milan are making a play to sign their former player and it has been claimed that they have prepared a bumper offer for Ibrahimovic.

It has been suggested that the Rossoneri are willing to offer a €11m per season contract to the Swede and the veteran hitman is said to be keen to say yes to AC Milan’s proposal.
